What is the Member Spotlight?
The Member Spotlight is a regular feature where we shine a light on one of our member businesses: who they are, what they do, and what makes them worth knowing about. It's shared across the Chamber's social-media channels and featured in our monthly newsletter, which goes out to our full membership and wider network.
Think of it as a warm introduction to the East Renfrewshire business community, with the Chamber's endorsement behind it.
Why does it matter?
Word of mouth is powerful, but it has limits. The Member Spotlight puts your business in front of people who might not have come across you yet: fellow Chamber members, prospective members, local business owners and professionals who follow us online.
It's not an advert, which actually makes it more effective. People pay more attention to a genuine feature than a paid promotion.
For sole traders and small businesses in particular, this kind of visibility can be hard to come by independently. The Member Spotlight gives you a platform without requiring a marketing budget.
What does it involve?
We keep it straightforward. We'll send you seven questions about your business and all you need to do is answer them in your own words:
Tell us about your business, the inspiration behind it and when you launched it.

What has been your biggest lesson or challenge so far and how did you overcome it?
What is your number one business tip for success?
What are your big business goals for the year ahead?
What is the dream?
Favourite business book or quote.
We'll put it together into a feature and publish it across our channels.
If you have good-quality photos of yourself or your work, those are always welcome and help the feature stand out.
How do I get featured?
